	Dear New Friends, Well here we are, the end of the year. Time sure does fly by when you are having fun. We hope all of you have had a great time with New Friends and that it has brought you comradeship and enjoyment. We have over 155 members and all sorts of functions and activities for you to get involved with. We hope you have taken advantage of all. The best way to meet friends is to attend the smaller activities and participate by volunteering or opening up your home to a special activity. We thank all of you who have stepped forward and helped to make our club a success for the past two years.            Tuesday, June 8 will be our 2nd Annual Spring Hat Luncheon. It will be held at Ceresville Mansion, what a superior place to lunch with beautiful hats on our heads. Maybe this is just a memory of time past when ladies always wore a hat to an event. We hope you will join us. It is not required but if you want to have fun decorating your hat and being beautiful for a day, unite with us.            Remember our New Members Tea will be Tuesday, June 15 -10:30am at Diana Goodall’s home. This is always a lovely event and a great way to introduce yourself to our members and for us seasoned members to get to know you.             Wednesday, June 16, is our road trip to Tuesday Morning and Wegmans in Leesburg, Virginia. If you like to shop and enjoy seeing what we will someday have here in Frederick, come along with us.            We do not have our general meetings and luncheons in July or August, but do check the newsletter for some of our activities do occur throughout the summer.            Norma and I have enjoyed our time as your co-presidents. We so appreciate all the help we have had, the volunteers who participated with very little nudging and all the sweet friends we have made in the last two years. We donated to our charity “Heartly House” in the past two years, $4,300 plus the book sale. Thank you for being so generous and for being our friends.
