monthly newsletter and participate in any of the clubs activities. Newsletters will ONLY be sent to

FROM OUR PRESIDENTS
Dear Friends,It was fun to see everyone at Carrabas! Yum, the food was
great and the company was even better. I met five new ladies and enjoyed meeting them all.
I sat at a table with all new friends and that was fun.. Isn’t that what New Friends Club
is all about? Our next luncheon is going to be a mix and mingle. Everyone will find where they sit by matching their partial valentine
to the matching valentine located at each seat. Our
luncheon in Feb is going to be a potluck, something new for this club! I have been a member for 6 years
and this is a first for me. Each member will bring a dish to share. I hope I get to
try some really great food! The cost of the luncheon will pay for the plates, forks, etc.
This is the time of year
we will be looking for a new board. We had several people volunteer for some of the positions at the last
luncheon. It would be great to have some new faces and ideas from a new group. Anyone that would like to
make new friends, give fresh ideas, contribute one morning a month (for two years) and just wants to have fun this job is
for you! In other words if you are interested in serving on the board WE WANT YOU! Some of our activity chairs may want to
“retire”. If you are interested in taking over an activity or starting a new activity let us know.
Serving on the board is one of the best experiences I have had in New Friends Club. I have made some great friends
and done some things I probably would not have done if I hadn’t joined in. We hope you meet some New Friends in February through New Friends Club. Join some of the activities and
start a new one, after all isn’t that why you joined?
