Welcome to New Friends Club of Frederick, Maryland

Whether you are new to Frederick or entering a new stage in life and looking for something exciting to do, New Friends of Frederick offers an open door to making new friends and finding activities to enjoy. 

New Friends of Frederick is primarily a social group.  Promoting friendship is our goal.  We also support humanitarian projects in the Frederick, Maryland community through our annual fundraisers where all proceeds are donated to a local charity.

Speaker for the March Luncheon will be Veronica Poole.  Veronica is the Project Director for the Retired and
Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Frederick County which is sponsored by the Asian American Center
of Frederick (AACF).  RSVP is one of the largest volunteer efforts in the nation.  RSVP engages older adults
in a diverse range of volunteer activities that address critical community needs.
  Veronica, a Frederick County native, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from
Arizona State University and has over two decades of experience with corporate and nonporfit organizations.

Autumn Glory at Longwood Gardens

Cost includes round trip bus transportation, entry fee for Longwood Gardens and
bus driver gratuity.  Garden tour is self-guided.  Lunch at the Cafe is not included.

We are delighted to announce a bus trip to Longwood Gardens on Monday, October 7, 2019. 
Enjoy the sights and sounds of Longwood Gardens featuring 
"Autumn Colors." 
Indoor and outdoor foliage and fountain displays resonate throughout.
The bus will depart at 8:30 AM and return by 6:00 PM.

Dream Dinners Fundraiser ... Put the fun back into preparing delicious family meals !
  Sign up now for a Dream Dinner session in their Frederick store, especially reserved for
members of New Friends Club of Frederick.
  All ingredients are provided for dishes you select from their menu...assemeble ingredients and
bring home to enjoy right away or freeze to use another day. 
Four dates are reserved for our members and guests. 
Each session will accommodate 10 people. 
Cost is $35.00 for three (3) entrees.  Each entree will serve three (3) people.

Dream Dinners Foundation is a national organization that provides millions of meals to children in need. 
They have pledged to  contribute $10.00 per each participating club member to Blessings in a Backpack
on behalf of New Friends Club of Frederick.
